The sacred kingfisher is one of the best known birds in New Zealand and hold a special place in many peoples hearts. I have one that loves to visit me in my garden,  keeping the worms in their place.
This design was originally done in ink and then recreated as a digital design to enhance quality and crispness of lines and detail.
