Duder Regional Park, “Whakakaiwhara Peninsula”, a place where land and sea meet, & dance in harmony.

This art print taken from an acrylic painting captures a lone tree overlooking the Peninsula at Duder Regional Park, East Auckland. Known for its rolling hills, native bush, and sweeping Hauraki Gulf views, the park has deep cultural significance to Ngāi Tai ki Tāmaki and was farmed by the Duder family for over a century before becoming a public reserve in 1995. A timeless landscape with a strong sense of place.

Initially done in acrylic and ink on canvas it was then scanned in high resolution then recreated into a digital design to enhance vibrance and crispness of lines and detail that often get lost in prints.
